Every month, we work on 10 kilometers of roads on average — Soludo

He said that in the two years after taking office on March 17, 2022, his government had completed 240 kilometers of new roads throughout the whole state.

The revelation was made by Soludo yesterday during the commissioning of a recently finished five-kilometer stretch of road connecting Niger Street and Port-Harcourt Road in the Onitsha South Local Government Area of the state’s Fegge neighborhood. Soludo stated that in addition to roads, the government is also dealing with a large number of other projects.

He mentioned hospitals and pipe-borne water as some of the other initiatives his administration was working on to provide healthcare and affordable access to clean drinking water for everyone in the state. He also mentioned that after Port Harcourt Road and Niger Street were finished, the government would now focus on other nearby roads in Onitsha, such as Miss Elems, Zik’s Avenue, and Silas Works.
